Joy Reid: Trump Is Acting Like a Leader From Places That Are ‘Not So Savory’ Around the World

During Saturday’s “AM Joy,” host Joy Reid teased the next segment coming up after a commercial break, saying she will discuss President Donald Trump’s “ongoing attempt to imprison his critics — tin-pot dictator style.”

When the show returned, Reid argued that the “lock her up” chants at Trump rallies in regards to 2016 opponent Hillary Clinton and the president calling on Twitter for the Justice Department to go after Clinton are both similar to what the leaders from the “not so savory” places around the world do.
