Rudy Giuliani Says Donald Trump Reimbursed Attorney For $130,000 Payment To Stormy Daniels

A new development has surfaced in the scandal between Donald Trump and Stormy Daniels. Rudy Giuliani, one of Trumps lawyers, said that he repaid his attorney Michael Cohen for the $130,000 payment made to Stormy Daniels to keep her from going public with her alleged affair with Trump.

Initially, Trump had said that he was not aware of the Cohens payment to Daniels. However, during Giulianis appearance on Fox News, he had a story that didnt exactly match up with Trumps or Cohens. Giuliani told Sean Hannity: “That was money that was paid by his lawyer, the president reimbursed that over the period of several months.” Giuliani said that the payment will turn out to be “perfectly legal” because the money used was not campaign money.

Despite revealing this information, Giuliani continued to talk up Trump and said, “This is our best president in my memory.”

This adds a new wrinkle in this ever-evolving scandal in which Daniels claimed to had sex with Trump in 2006. The allegations have since been denied by Trump. Cohen is currently under investigation after the F.B.I. raided his home last month and obtained information about the payment made to Daniels.
