Southern Charm star Thomas Ravenel is being investigated by his production company and the Bravo network after sexual misconduct allegations were raised against him.

The allegations were made by real estate agent Ashley Perkins, who posted complaints against series star Ravenel online and told People magazine that her mother, Debbie Holloway Perkins, met Ravenel on dating app Tinder in October 2015.

The mother went on a first date with Ravenel two months later on Christmas. Perkins claims her mother later told her that Ravenel “stuck his penis in her face,” and also held her arms back while sticking his fingers inside her vagina and anus. Perkins said she did not witness the assaults, but that her mother seemed “very withdrawn” and finally confided in her.

A statement from the production company and Bravo indicated they were looking into the charges.

“Haymaker, the production company for Southern Charm, and Bravo take allegations like these very seriously,” Bravo said in a statement to People. “Haymaker is conducting an investigation, and once all the information is gathered and carefully reviewed, appropriate action will be taken.”

Perkins said her mothers wrists were injured by the alleged assault, but she did not want to “go to court.” Perkins said she took a picture of the wrist injuries.

On June 1, 2016, the mother and Perkins also allegedly participated in a mediation intervention with Ravenel. Perkins said her mother signed a non-disclosure agreement with Ravenel and received $200,000, according to People.

Ravenels attorney, Richard P. Terbrusch, said in a statement, “My client enjoys a certain degree of fame and unfortunately has become – unfairly – a target for an individual who has, in my opinion, dubious motivations.”

There have been no reports of a police investigation into the matter.
