Saudi health ministry says no diseases or quarantine cases among pilgrims

RIYADH: Saudi Arabias Ministry of Health has confirmed there has been no incidence, so far, of any epidemic diseases or quarantine cases among pilgrims.

The ministry said the health situation is reassuring, adding that it focuses its priorities on the preventive when it comes to pilgrim health.

It said it follows up developments and changes in the health situation globally in cooperation with the World Health Organization and international health bodies.

The ministry has also provided a number of health pointers to heart patients who are intending to perform Hajj this year.

Infographics shared on the ministrys Twitter account stress the importance of stabilizing the health situation of heart patients, as well as carrying a proper quantity of medication and the importance of pilgrims keeping their medical cards on their possession. In addition, to keeping suitable supplies of medicine on their person.
