WATCH: Tunisian pilgrims get welcoming reception in Medina

The first batch of Tunisian pilgrims arrived to Saudi Arabia on Saturday.

The pilgrims arrived via Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in medina where they had a welcoming reception, with floral petals and Arabic sent thrown on them, according to Saudi Hajj ministry.

Tunisian Ministry of Religious Affairs, had earlier announced that there have been 236,000 Hajj applications this year, and that the number of Tunisian pilgrims is 10,892 compared to 10,374 in 2017, with an increase of 518 pilgrims.
