New road project in northern Saudi region to serve university students

AL-JOUF: Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, governor of Al-Jouf Region, ordered on Sunday to proceed with the Baydaa-Tuwair road between King Abdullah Road and Jouf University. The road is to be done according to the standards and quality that are suitable to serve Jouf university students, because it represents the path of the vital artery they pass on daily. The project is under the support of the government of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The prince stood on the road to follow up the progress of the preventive roads maintenance project, as well as the project of adjusting turns on agricultural roads. He showed personal interest to facilitate the students access to the university in accordance with safety requirements on these roads.
He listened to the Director General of the Ministry of Transport in Al-Jouf Region Ateeq Bin Mohammed Al-Shammari to explain about the projects. He explained that the road maintenance work comes through the implementation of asphalt layer with the expansion of the road shoulders and the implementation of safety factors.
