But Cardi Bs highest honor awaits: her appearance on The Late Late Shows “Carpool Karaoke” segment with host James Corden, scheduled to air this Monday, Dec. 17. The unlikely duo tool around Los Angeles, pausing briefly for a parking lesson for the Bronx-born Cardi B.
Cardi B was a regular cast member on the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop: New York. Her I Like It was the first by a female rapper to have multiple No. 1 songs on the charts, and she also scored a similarly lofty perch with her Maroon 5 collaboration, Girls Like You. Time magazine has named her one of the 100 most influential people in the world.
