Two arrested for pasting LeT posters in Bandipora

SRINAGAR: Two overground workers (OGWs), including a law student, were arrested on Saturday for allegedly designing and pasting provocative posters of the proscribed Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) outfit in Hajin area of north Kashmirs Bandipora district. Police have recovered two laptops and other incriminating evidence from the duo, SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik said.
The arrests were made after police, acting on intelligence inputs, raided several places in Hajin and busted the OGW module. The accused were identified as Irfan Ahmad Bhat of Hajins Syed Mohalla and Asif Ahmad Parray of Hajins Parray Mohalla. Irfan is an LLB student while Asif is a shopkeeper by profession and sells SIM cards, SSP Malik said.
