PM Modi holds telephonic conversation on Covid-19 with Denmark PM

NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday had a telephonic conversation with his Denmark counterpart Mette Frederiksen and discussed the steps taken by the two countries to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic.
PM Modi appreciated Denmarks success in lifting the lockdown restrictions without causing an increase in the number of infections, an official statement said.
During the conversation, it was agreed that Indian and Danish experts would remain in touch to learn from each others experience.
"Both leaders reiterated their shared desire to further strengthen India-Denmark relations, and discussed the ways in which both countries could work together in the post-Covid world," the statement said.
