Unlock 5 guidelines: Theatres allowed from Oct 15 with 50% capacity; states to decide on opening of schools

NEW DELHI: The ministry of home affairs on Wednesday released guidelines for Unlock 5, allowing reopening of cinema halls and entertainment parks from October 15 with 50% capacity.
In a statement, the home ministry said that swimming pools will also be allowed to reopen for training of sportspersons.
"Cinemas/ theatres/ multiplexes will be permitted to open with up to 50% of their seating capacity, for which, SOP will be issued by ministry of Information & Broadcasting," the MHA said.
