Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has welcomed reported interest in Wilfried Zaha, saying it shows how well he’s playing.
The winger has been in sensational form in recent weeks as the Eagles have moved out of the relegation zone. Hodgson’s side are unbeaten in seven Premier League outings, with an impressive 3-0 away win over Leicester on their last outing.
The displays of Zaha have led to speculation linking him with a move to a top-six club. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City are among those reportedly interested in the former Manchester United player.

Hodgson gave an honest appraisal of the situation prior to his side’s game with Swansea this weekend, admitting it was impossible to say for sure Zaha wouldn’t leave.
‘I don’t think that as a manager you can ever give guarantees on anything,’ said the Crystal Palace manager.
‘It’s a great credit to the club and Will Zaha that if there are rumours circulating that there are so called bigger clubs looking at him and maybe thinking of making a bid, we should be pleased about that because it means he’s playing well.
‘That’s the way we are looking at it and if the day comes that when one of those rumours becomes the truth and there’s a concrete situation, I will come to terms with it at that moment in time.
‘If you ask if I want him to stay, then like the rest of Crystal Palace supporters of course I do. I’m happy to let the rumours abound.
‘He’s helping us win games and I’ve no doubt that will continue until the day when he can no longer do it for us. Like most Crystal Palace fans, I hope that’s a long way off.’

The clubs being linked with Zaha may have some concerns considering his ill-fated spell with Manchester United. He moved to Old Trafford for around £10million in 2013 but was loaned out to Cardiff mid-way through the season and then returned to Selhurst Park the season after. He managed just two Premier League appearances for the Red Devils having failed to make much of an impression.
