Romelu Lukaku was involved in a bust-up with Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho earlier in the month over his positioning, according to reports.
After arriving at Old Trafford from Everton as a £75million summer signing, Lukaku enjoyed a sensational start to his United career, netting 11 goals in his first ten games for the club.
But the Belgian talisman then endured a barren run, scoring just once in 12 appearances and often appearing low in confidence.

His below-par performances led Mourinho to tell him that his positioning was inadequate, according to The Sun, and he was ‘sick’ of telling him where to play from the technical area.
Lukaku, it is claimed, stood his ground during the exchange and has since scored three goals from four starts.
He came from off the bench in the Carabao Cup against Bristol City in midweek as the Championship outfit defied the odds to clinch a stunning 2-1 win to progress to the semi-finals of the competition.
United, who are second in the Premier League, 11 points adrift of rivals Manchester City, travel to the King Power Stadium on Saturday to face Leicester City.
Ahead of the clash, Mourinho said: ‘I think expectations now are, if the top teams perform, it is very difficult for them to have the same dream or to reach the same incredible title.
