JEDDAH: The Consulate General of Saudi Arabia in Hong Kong on Saturday launched the Kingdom’s pavilion at the UNESCO exhibition which will be held over three days, SPA reported.
The participation will highlight Saudi Arabia’s regional and international role in humanitarian assistance and disaster relief under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
The pavilion includes activities that promote values of peace and coexistence, and improve cross-cultural communications.
Saudi Consul General in Hong Kong Omar Bakheet Al-Bunyan said the consulate’s participation in this exhibition emphasizes the Kingdom’s leading role as a peace-loving country that spares no effort to support and promote international stability and peace.
“Saudi Arabia’s efforts in this field are a reflection of how important the values of coexistence and solidarity are to the country’s people and government since these are the values rooted in Saudi society’s Arab and Islamic culture.”
The Kingdom’s pavilion offered visual presentations and print material that emphasize the country’s efforts and contributions in the field of humanitarian assistance and disaster relief around the world, especially in Yemen, Syria, Somalia, and Africa through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center and the Saudi Fund for Development.
