WASHINGTON: Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed the latest efforts to find a lasting peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis with Jared Kushner, Trump adviser, and Jason Greenblatt, Trump’s special envoy to the Middle East peace process, Tuesday night.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed the latest developments in the region and the future of peace between the Israeli and the Palestinians, and the mutual US-Saudi interest in finding a permanent solution to the Palestinian issue.

Crown Prince Mohammed reiterated in his CBS interview that Riyadh was keen to focus on discussing with the US administration issues that help Palestinian interests away from the divisive issue of the US decision to move its embassy to Jerusalem.
