Paris St Germain are so convinced Luis Enrique is joining Chelsea they’ve given up their own interest in appointing him as manager, according to reports.
The former Barcelona manager is expected to return to the dugout this summer, but precisely where he goes is the subject of much speculation.
He’s been linked with Chelsea, PSG and Arsenal who are all expected to make a change at the top at the end of the current season.
It seems however that his future may already be decided, with Le Parisien reporting that PSG have removed Enrique from their shortlist as they expect him to replace Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge.
Enrique would be something of a scalp for Chelsea, with the Spaniard considered among the best coaches in football having led Barcelona to a treble during his Nou Camp reign.
