Saudi Arabia issues new stamps to mark its participation in World Cup 2018

RIYADH: Saudi Postal Corporation has announced the production of new postal stamps to commemorate the national football teams qualification for the 2018 World Cup finals in Russia.
The stamps include a five-riyal ($1.0) stamp bearing a photo of the national team that played Spain, in a recent friendly match, as part of their World Cup preparations.
The same stamp features a falcon dressed in national colors, as well as the logo of the General Authority for Sport and a picture of the World Cup with the motto “Go on Green.”
The World Cup stamps issue also included stamps of approximately two Saudi riyals each, or just under $0.5, showing the Saudi flag and various Saudi landmarks in addition to the teams falcon mascot posing as a football player.
