UN rates Saudi Arabia among most mature countries in communications and IT sector regulation

RIYADH: The United Nations specialized agency in communications and information technology — International Telecommunication Union — rated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia among the most mature countries in the regulation of the telecommunications and information technology sectors in the world.
On this occasion, Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Salem Al-Ruwais, Governor of the Communications and Information Technology Commission (CITC), expressed pride in the ranking awarded to the Kingdom.
