TAIF: The Muslim World League (MWL) on Thursday condemned false claims that Saudi Arabia is forbidding Syrians from performing Hajj and Umrah.
The Kingdom receives guests from all countries, including Syria, the league said. The MWL thanked the Kingdom for its efforts to serve all visitors to the Two Holy Mosques and provide comprehensive care for them.
The league commended Saudi Arabia for receiving more than 18,000 Syrian pilgrims this year and catering to all their medical needs.
The Kingdom receives annually millions of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims and visitors from different sects, races and nationalities, and has never discriminated against them, the MWL said.
