JEDDAH: The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association is set to participate in a number of regional and international scout events before the end of 2018.
The Secretary General of the Saudi Scout Association, Dr. Abdullah Al-Fahd, said participating in such events is part of the associations eagerness to bolster relations with associations from around the world.
It also creates an opportunity for intercultural exchanges among participants and to highlight Saudi cultural and the level of development lived in the kingdom, he added.
Al-Fahd said among the notable scout events at which the Saudi scouts will take part of Scout organization of the Netherlands, and the the Third Inter-American Scout Moot in Peru from Jul 27 to Aug 5.
