JEDDAH: The Pilgrims City at Abu Ajram has completed preparations to receive and serve Hajj pilgrims, under the guidance and directives of Al-Jouf Gov. Prince Badr bin Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, with the participation of a number of government entities.

The city has installed tents, lighting poles and spray pumps, and has carried out asphalt work, as well as cleaning and maintenance of the mosque and toilets.

Under the direct supervision of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the officials are ready to receive the pilgrims and help them perform their rituals with ease and tranquility.

Al-Joufs education department has set up a camp operated by trained Saudi scouts to serve pilgrims.

The regions health affairs department is operating a 24-hour center to provide health services to pilgrims.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs is also participating through a call and guidance center, providing tips and guidance on the pillars of Hajj, and distributing brochures and leaflets.

An updated version of the Manasikana application has been launched, offering improved services on smart devices to help pilgrims and visitors during their journeys of faith to the holy sites.
