Saudi Aramco hosts Gulf Women Forum

JEDDAH: Saudi Aramco hosted on Monday the Gulf Women Forum under the theme “Promote womens future opportunities”

The event held at the at the conference plaza in Dhahran was the 10th edition of the conference. The platform is of strategic international significance aimed at the professional development for women in the Gulf.

The president of Saudi Aramco, Amin Hassan Al-Nasser, said the company will not only continue to support the professional and leadership development of women, but will increase its efforts, in line with the kingdoms Vision 2030, in reaching ambitious goals in increasing womens economic and social participation.

On the sidelines of the forum, Saudi Arabias Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Development, Dr. Tamador bent Youseff Al-Ramah, said the ministry is keen on empowering women in the workplace.

The ministry will coordinate with government bodies to offer environment that protects women rights and respects their needs, she added.
