As America still reels from the massacre in Pittsburgh this past weekend This Is Us paid an homage to the city where much of the Dan Fogelman created series takes place.
At the end of Tuesdays “Kamsahamnida” episode on NBC, a titled card went up addressing the murder of 11 people in the Tree of Life synagogue on October 27. Now facing the death penalty, suspect Robert Bowers vile action was the worst concentrated case of anti-semitism in American history.
Executive producer Fogelman and This Is Us actors like Mandy Moore took the title card to social media soon afterwards, as well as advocating a charity to support the victims families and those also injured in the gunfire in the house of worship:

Now in its third season and starring Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Susan Kelechi Watson, Chrissy Metz and Chris Sullivan, the well watched, Emmy nominated and LA filmed This Is Us takes place over several decades in the Pennsylvania city.
