Pretty Woman: The Musical Sets First International Production In Germany

The magical fairytale production of Pretty Woman: The Musical is about to go international. Producer Paula Wagner announced that the musical will have its first international production in Germany with performances starting September 23, 2019 at Hamburgs Stage Theater.

Garry Marshall dreamed of bringing his beloved film Pretty Woman to Broadway as a musical. His dream has come true…and then some…as we move forward launching the second production of this romantic, new musical in Germany,” said Wagner. “Pretty Woman was an International blockbuster film. Widely embraced in Germany, Pretty Woman has had an extremely strong connection resonating with audiences from Hamburg to Berlin to Munich.”

Pretty Woman: The Musical originally opened on Broadway on August 16 at Broadways Nederlander Theatre to sold out audiences. Pretty Woman has original music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance with a book by Garry Marshall and the films screenwriter J.F. Lawton, with direction and choreography by two-time Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell. The musical will continue performances on Broadway through Sunday, September 1, 2019
