Tsunami Hits During Indonesian Pop Band Show Killing Two

When a tsunami hit the Sunda Strait in Indonesia on Saturday, it struck during a beach where pop band Seventeen was performing. The tsunami tragically claimed the lives of one band member and their manager.

In a tearful video posted by Seventeens lead singer Riefian Fajarsyah on Instagram, he expressed his sadness and said that three other band members and his wife were missing. He said that the rest of the band members are fine and have minor injuries.

He posted another photo of his band members as well as one of his wife asking for prayers that they will find them.

The tsunami struck Pandeglang, Serang and South Lampung in Indonesia on Saturday night. According to CNN, officials say at least 222 people were killed and hundreds more injured or missing.
