JEDDAH: Madinah Gov. Prince Faisal bin Salman signed an agreement with Yanbu Aramco Sinopec Refining Company (YASREF) to support the Madinah Global Academy (Madak) project.

Prince Faisal extended his appreciation to YASREF for its work to support sustainable development, including the Madak project.

The company was represented by Mohammed Al-Daoud, its chairman, and CEO Mohammed Al-Naghash.

“Madak will help build a promising generation of innovative and creative citizens to participate in the development system, thus achieving the aspirations of King Salmans government,” the prince said.

Considered one of the most important educational foundations in Madinah, Madak is designed to provide a distinguished educational environment for students from kindergarten to secondary school.

The academy will have 1,000 male and female students, and will include a sports center for girls and boys, including indoor and outdoor courts (playgrounds).

A social center, an exploration center and three libraries have been included in the project.

The academy will focus on students, guardians and teachers, promoting the projects vision as an integral part of Saudi social development.
