One SSB trooper injured in blast outside Srinagar police station

SRINAGAR: A Sashashtra Seema Bal (SSB) trooper sustained minor injuries in a “mysterious blast” outside a police station near Lal Bazaar in Srinagar on Thursday. Officials said it was a low-intensity blast, and investigation are on to ascertain the nature of the explosion.
The security forces cordoned off the area soon after the blast. “There were no reports of any major damage,” an official said, adding that it not clear if it was caused by a grenade.
