Broadcasters reiterate call for stimulus

NEW DELHI: The News Broadcasters Association has written to the government reiterating its demand for a stimulus package that includes a 50% hike in advertisement rates and the immediate paying up of uncleared dues of Rs 64.49 crore pending over the last decade.
Over the last month, key media organisations including the Indian Broadcasting Federation and Indian Newspaper Society have written to the government seeking urgent financial help from the government.
