10-year-old Poonch girl killed in lightning strike

JAMMU: A 10-year-old girl was killed and three others were injured when they were struck by lightning in a remote area of Jammu and Kashmirs Poonch district on Sunday. Then at her funeral, around a dozen people were injured when a structure collapsed.
“Lightning hit a mud house in Manai village in Behram Gala locality of Poonch district at around 5.30pm on Sunday, resulting in death of a minor girl and injuries to three other persons,” the Poonch police said. The deceased girl was identified as Ufaq Iman of Manhie Behramgala at Surankote.
During the girls funeral at the local graveyard, a structure collapsed and resulted in injuries to around a dozen persons.
