Mauro Icardi’s agent has warned the striker’s suitors the Inter star is worth £176million in today’s transfer market.

The Inter captain has been linked with a sensational move to Real Madrid and Chelsea in recent weeks.

Arsenal have also been mooted as suitors, but Icardi is sure to fetch a hefty fee after bagging 15 goals in 14 appearances this season.

‘It’s right that such an attacker, one of the most important number nines in the world, has big clubs who care about him and consider him for what he is worth.’

Icardi has a £98m release clause in his current deal, but Nara believes the goalscorer is worth ‘at least €200m (£176m)’.

‘I prefer not to tell you who is calling me,’ Nara continued.

‘It is I who talk about these things while Mauro thinks of Inter and is happy to be here.
