Richarlison, 20, completed an £11.2million move from Fluminense to Vicarage Road in the summer transfer window and has flown out of the blocks in England, scoring five goals in his opening 14 appearances for the Hornets.
It’s understood both Chelsea and Tottenham are expressing a strong interest in Richarlison and the Brazilian has fueled the rumours with a cryptic tweet to Blues superstar Hazard.
The youngster uploaded a picture of their meeting when Watford traveled to Stamford Bridge on October 21 – the match finished 4-2 to Antonio Conte’s men.
Watford have played five Premier League matches since the defeat at Chelsea so the timing of Richarlison’s message is rather bizarre.
Asked about Richarlison’s future after Watford’s defeat to Manchester United, Watford Marco Silva said: ‘For us to improve as a club we need to sign players with ambition.
‘I want everyone in the club to work hard and if they achieve something else in their careers, then that’s normal. I’m realistic.
‘While they are at Watford they need to give 100 per cent.
‘To do well in their careers is fantastic for us as a club and also for the player.’
