Barcelona winger Arda Turan has been spotted in London amid rumours he could be used as a makeweight in a deal for Arsenal contract rebel Mesut Ozil.
The German playmaker is expected to leave the Emirates on a free in the summer, though Arsene Wenger might be tempted to try and make money on him in the January window.
Recent reports have suggested that Barcelona are making a big play to bring Ozil to Camp Nou and see him as the ideal replacement for Andres Iniesta.
They are even prepared to offer Arda Turan in part exchange, with the big-money signing from Atletico Madrid seemingly not featuring in new boss Ernesto Valverde’s plans.
And the Turkish star has now fuelled those rumours further after he made an impromptu visit to London over the weekend rather than watching his teammates at Camp Nou.

While Barca were toiling against Celta Vigo, Turan’s agent, Ahmet Bulut, shared a picture of the two enjoying a sightseeing trip around the English capital.
Turan has struggled for fitness this season and has not made the Barca matchday squad since the very first game of the season, currently sidelined due to metatarsal bruising.
Turan has only netted five goals in 36 La Liga appearances for Barcelona since leaving Atletico Madrid in 2015, with his early time at the club hampered by being ineligible to play due to Barca’s transfer ban.
