Friday on his nationally syndicated radio show, conservative talker Mark Levin slammed the special counsel’s probe headed by former FBI Director Robert Mueller on the heels of the news former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had been charged and pled guilty to lying to the FBI.
Levin called it a “crap investigation” and noted little had been done regarding the original purpose of the special counsel, which was to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.
“Just look at all the lies and deceit and propaganda that’s being pushed out based on this plea deal today,” he said. “And look who is telling you all of this stuff. This is a crap investigation. That’s what it is – it is a crap investigation. The [Paul] Manafort and [Rick] Gates stuff should have been handled by a U.S. Attorney’s office. It’s involving matters that go way, way back. Nothing to do with the campaign – nothing whatever to do with the campaign. This guy [George] Papadopoulos, and so forth – he is an irrelevancy, an absolute irrelevancy – pleads to one count of false statements. That’s the best they can do?”
