Alex Hales has been cleared to play for England following confirmation the batsman is no longer a suspect in relation to an incident involving Ben Stokes in Bristol.
Avon & Somerset police have confirmed Hales, 28, will face no charges and can therefore now be considered for selection.

The ECB have also approved a formal request for a ‘No Objection Certificate’ [NOC] to allow Hales to play in the inaugural T20 cricket league in Dubai later in the month.
Stokes was granted a NOC last month and he signed for New Zealand side Canterbury, where he made his debut at the weekend.
One-day specialist Hales is expected to return for the limited-overs series of England’s tour of Australia that starts in January.
He made his international debut in 2011 and has since played 11 Tests and 101 one-day fixtures.
