Well, that was close. A little too close.
It wasn’t pretty, but the Brett Hundley-led Green Bay Packers snuck out a second straight win in overtime, barely slipping past the winless Cleveland Browns 27-21.
Hundley sent the game into overtime after he lasered a touchdown pass to Davante Adams with 17 seconds to play. And with the help of rookie Josh Jones’ interception in overtime, Hundley and the Packers walked off winners on another Adams score.
The victory improved Green Bay to 7-6 on the season and opened up the opportunity for the injured Aaron Rodgers to make his return to the field next week for a chip, chair and a chance to spark an improbable playoff run.
