Neymar has told friends he wants to leave PSG and instructed his father to begin working on a summer transfer to Real Madrid, according to reports in Spain.
The Brazilian’s move to Paris has been mired with drama, having fallen out with Edinson Cavani over who should take penalties and grown unhappy with life in the French capital.
It was even suggested that he asked his former Barcelona teammates if they would take him back during an impromptu trip to Catalonia, while he was forced to hold a tearful press conference while on international duty denying the rumours.
But he mysteriously returned to Brazil this week, missing PSG’s cup match against Strasbourg, supposedly to attend the birthday party of a friend’s father and visit his trusted dentist.
It has once again reigniting rumours that he is unsettled at PSG, and now Spanish television show El Chiringuito suggest his time with the Parisians could be coming to a premature end.

According to the reports, Neymar wants to go to Real Madrid next summer and has already told friends, relatives and his father about his intentions.
Neymar Senior acts as his son’s agent, and was influential in the £198m deal that took him from Barcelona to PSG – though he claimed at the time that he disapproved of the move – and he has already got the ball rolling over a summer switch.
Neymar would also consider a move back to Barcelona, though the Catalan club have little interest in trying to negotiate with PSG and do not fear the prospect of a Neymar-led Real while Lionel Messi is still at Camp Nou.
Real skipper Sergio Ramos has already welcomed rumours linking Neymar with a move to the Bernabeu, while president Florentino Perez sent him a no-to-subtle transfer message last week.
‘Everyone knew that I wanted to sign him,’ said Perez. ‘Being at Madrid would make it easier for Neymar to win [the Ballon d’Or]. Madrid is a club that gives big players what they need.’
