CAA agent Olivia Metzger, who represents some of the top names in TV news including Jeff Glor, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin and Stephanie Ruhle, is leaving the agency, according to a report in the Huffington Post.
HuffPo, citing two unnamed sources, reports that Metzger intends to continue repping clients, either at another agency or by starting her own firm. According to the article, at least CBS Evening News anchor Glor, NBC/MSNBC anchor Melvin and NBC White House correspondent Kristen Welker will follow Metzger.
No reason for Metzger’s leaving was stated by HuffPo.
Reps for CAA could not be reached for comment Saturday.
Metzger’s high-profile client list outlined by HuffPo also includes CNN’s Poppy Harlow, NBC host Jenna Bush Hager, Fox News’ Martha MacCallum, Harris Faulkner, Shannon Bream and Ainsley Earhardt, as well as various executives and producers including Rashida Jones, senior vice president of specials at NBC News and MSNBC.
Metzger joined CAA in 2009, before which she had been Vice President, NBC Television Stations since 2002. She’s also held positions at MSNBC, CNBC and NBC News.
