Lin-Manuel Miranda And Barack Obama Team On New Version Of One Last Time

Lin-Manuel Miranda is back with a favorite collaborator – former President Barack Obama.

The Hamilton creator has just released One Last Time (44 Remix), a gospel version of a song from the hit musical.

He is joined halfway through by Obama – our 44th president – who delivers part of George Washingtons farewell address during a guitar and piano interlude.

“Though, in reviewing the incidents of my administration, I am unconscious of intentional error, I am nevertheless too sensible of my defects not to think it probable that I may have committed many errors,” Obama intones. He then segues into Washingtons celebration of retirement and being able to enjoy “the benign influence of good laws under a free government, the ever-favorite object of my heart.”

Miranda also posted a picture on Twitter of the former president casually hanging out in the studio.
