EXCLUSIVE:Mosaic has upped John Tynan and Drew Shenfield to managers at the Hollywood management company. Tynan was a drama coordinator and Shenfield a comedy coordinator.
Tynan, who began as an intern, has worked the past three years under Ashley Josephson learning a talent-focused client list while taking on more administrative responsibilities. Over the past year, he has taken point on coordinating department meetings, organizing studio and independent casting coverage, and implemented organizational systems for managers and clients. He now will provide support to the entire drama department, coordinate festival coverage, and begin to build his own client roster.
Shenfield worked a year in the WME talent department before making the transition to management. At Mosaic he has excelled in working with comedy performers and creators, specifically out of the digital space. As a manager he will focus on cultivating digital talent to bring them onto traditional formats.
“We take a lot of pride at Mosaic in identifying young, great talent. In addition to the artists themselves, this includes assistants who clearly step forward and distinguish themselves as future managers, or film/TV executives,” Mosaic principal Jimmy Miller said. “John and Drew have done just that, and we are extremely happy for them, and confident in them that they are going to add to a great group of managers here at Mosaic.”
