800 people in valley hid travel history: Srinagar DC

SSRINAGAR: As many as 800 people in Kashmir Valley hid their travel history, because of which the coronavirus situation worsened here, Srinagar deputy commissioner Shahid Iqbal Chaudhary said on Thursday.
“Had they disclosed their travel history, the (Covid-19) situation would have been better in the Valley. However, all of them were later traced one by one and quarantined. Although their test reports are awaited, theres apprehension that some of them carried the coronavirus to the Valley from abroad and spread it here,” Shahid said.
So far, J&K has reported 184 Covid-19 positive cases, of whom the Valley alone accounts for 152. The rest 32 cases are from Jammu. Even in case of Read More – Source
