Chelsea playmaker Charly Musonda has signed a new contract with the club which will run until 2022.
The Belgian has established himself as a first-team star this term and scored on his full debut during a 5-1 win against Nottingham Forest in the League Cup in September.
The 21-year-old has spent two stints on loan with Real Betis and is highly-rated by Chelsea’s academy staff.
Musonda clashed with Antonio Conte earlier this season when he hit out at the club on social media but he was ecstatic today to pen a new long-term deal.

‘I am very happy and very proud,’ said Musonda.

‘Now I want to establish myself and progress into the team and stay here permanently.’
