Jonny Bairstow put the ‘headbutt’ controversy firmly behind him as he scored a magnificent century for England in the third Ashes Test in Perth.
Bairstow made headlines for the wrong reasons earlier in the series after it emerged he awkwardly greeted Australia batsman Cameron Bancroft with his head in a bar at the start of the tour.

The incident, albeit trivial, led to sledging from the Aussies and humiliation for Bairstow as Bancroft and Steve Smith recalled the incident in a memorable press conference.
But Bairstow has moved on from the saga and was happy to point to the incident when he reached his hundred at the WACA, touching his helmet on his head.
