NEW DELHI: As millions of people across the country stayed indoors in support of 'Janta Curfew', Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday appreciated the efforts of citizens and said India has decided to "fight the menace" of COVID-19 together.
Saying that people's support is emphatic, PM Modi retweeted a series of tweets from several people, thanking them for their efforts.
Retweeting a video of Cannaught Place, Delhi, PM Modi said, "The people of India have decided- we are in this together. We will fight the menace of COVID-19 together."

In another tweet, PM Modi said: Quality family time, television and some good food. Each of you is a valued soldier in this battle against COVID-19. Your being alert and cautious can help lakhs of other lives.
