RIYADH: The Saudi National Center for Meteorology predicts that unstable weather will hit some parts of the Kingdom starting on Monday.
Sand-raising winds could affect visibility due to dust, it said in a statement.
It also said temperatures would rise in various areas of the Kingdom including Makkah, Madinah and Tabuk, including the coastal regions.
Al-Jawf and the northern border region, Hail, Qasim, and Hafr Al-Batin and the western parts of Riyadh will also be affected.
The dusty winds are likely to stay until Tuesday with wind speed expected to exceed 60 kilometers per hour especially during daytime, affecting the horizontal vision on roads.
Medium to heavy thundershowers are expected on Monday and Tuesday.
Medium downpours will be also expected in Qasim, highlands in Makkah and Madinah, and will extend to Riyadh and the Eastern Region on Wednesday and Thursday.
