JEDDAH: The Arab Parliament on Tuesday passed a resolution expressing solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
The resolution adopted during a regular session of the Parliament in Cairo rejected the malicious campaign against Riyadh.
The Parliament reaffirmed “categorical rejection of the biased campaign against Saudi Arabia, any attempt to undermine or threaten it or target the reputation and status of the Kingdom, as it is a well-established state with an honorable history, most notably as such campaign is based on false information and misguided sources.”
It expressed its full support for Saudi Arabia against all those who seek to undermine its sovereignty and reputation. The resolution lauded the Kingdoms positive role in supporting peace and stability in the region.
On Monday, the Parliaments Committee of Foreign, Political and National Security Affairs discussed its second report regarding the political situation in the Arab world.
