Gargash: Sweden agreement exposed Houthis before intl community

The Sweden agreement between the legitimate Yemeni government and the Houthi militias has exposed the Houthis in front of the international community, the UAEs Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash said in a Tweet on Monday.

“One of the advantages of the Sweden agreement is that it completely bared the Houthis in front of the international community, and exposed its practices. Its continued violations of the agreement in Hodeidah and the theatrical play of its withdrawal from the port is exposed, and weakened its position and stance,” Gargash tweeted.

The Arab Coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen had accused the Houthi militias of violating the ongoing ceasefire in Hodeidah several times.

“Houthi violations included shooting with all types of weapons such as ballistic missiles, mortar, RPG and Katyusha rockets,” one of its statement read.

“The Houthi terrorist militia continues to violate the ceasefire in Hodeidah. Those violations took place on the areas of Hodeidah as well as the districts of Ad Durayhimi, At Tuhayta, Hays,” they added.

The Houthi militias have blocked a UN delegation from entering the Taiz province.
